New York Daily News - Subway Fare Guide
At the New York Daily News, I worked on Subway Fare, an interactive feature designed to help readers discover the best places to eat and drink across the city's diverse boroughs. Collaborating with interactive developers, we created a seamless experience that drove article engagement and connected locals with great food near their subway stops. The concept was simple: all you needed was an appetite and a MetroCard.
For this logo, I wanted to incorporate the Helvetica typeface used in the iconic NYC subway stations. I also incorporated the subway route bullets and added food icons for an extra touch, along with a subtle flair to the "FARE" lettering to give the design more personality while staying true to the subway-inspired aesthetic.
