With this part of the NYDN Redesign, I assisted our lead designers in creating a layout that made the experience of consuming the content on nydn.com pleasurable. I was assigned to design the author placement for the article page, as well as subsequent author page.
Wireframing the experience
Wireframing the experience, allowed us to put all the stakeholder requirements together. We created user flows and play with layouts. Wireframing was a good way to discover the layout possibilities without investing a lot of time in visual design.

We felt visual was the key factor when creating this author placements for the article pages. We wanted to showcase our editors in a clean but direct way by placing their profile photo by their article.
