Ipanema Sports Bar

Glowing blue and green fixtures coolly light this sunken, mirror-paneled bar located in the West Village in NYC. I had the privilege to redesign their logo.
Logo
Redesigning Ipanema's logo was an exciting process. I felt it was only right to implement elements from the Brazilian flag. Its primary feature is a The Twin Brothers mountains located in Vidigal, Rio de Janeiro. I added a touch of the diamond that you can also find in the Brazilian flag, symbolic of Brazil's wealth in gold. Overall, the client wanted a more stamp rustic feel to the logo.
